Canadian Fields reserves the right at all times to – without a statement of reason – to refuse a booking.

Canadian Fields will confirm a booking via e-mail and a payment request within 24 hrs. The confirmation and invoice must be checked immediately on receipt for any errors. Possible or claimed inadequacies must always be notified by email or phone within ten days following the date of invoice and or before the start of the stay if within ten days of  the stay. If within ten days of your booking you are not in possession of a confirmation and invoice then you must get in touch with Canadian Fields on 01439 772409 or email info@canadianfields.co.uk. Bookings made for the next calendar year can be cancelled by Canadian Fields a week prior to your arrival. If this happens Canadian Fields will offer an alternative stay or a full refund of the deposit paid.

The prices on the Canadian Fields website are not binding. We reserve the right to modify these prices. At the time of booking you will be informed of the prices applicable. The price stated on the confirmation invoice is binding. Discounts and/or special offers can no longer be used after the confirmation/invoice has been sent.

Your contact and personal details may be kept by us for future mailings and news. If you wish to opt out please contact us. You may also opt out of receiving emails at any time by contacting us. The booking process asks for your address details and phone numbers, these are required by the Local Authority so at any time we can prove you are not residents at the camp site. It also allows us to contact you should the Internet fail and if we need to contact you whilst you are travelling to the campsite. Please note your financial details are never stored.

We don’t mind when you arrive, however for a warm relaxed welcome it’s best between 3 and 6 (tents are generally ready from 3pm). Any earlier and your tent may not be ready. We would be grateful if you let us know when you are planning to arrive.

Please vacate the tent at 10.30am on day of departure.

Booking

To secure your booking a deposit of 30% (or full payment) of the cost of your stay is required. Bookings must be paid in full 8 weeks before your visit start time. If the booking is less than 8 weeks from the date of your stay the full price of the stay is required. Confirmation of the booking will be sent after the deposit, or full payment, has been received. If the balance is not paid by the due date Canadian Fields reserves the right to re-let the tents and retain the deposit.

Payment

Payment is taken via Bacs and in UK pounds sterling only.

Cancellation

If cancellation is made before 8 weeks to arrival, the paid sum will not be refunded, it can be held over to a date, subject to availability, later in the year or following year. If you roll over to another date for which a higher sum is charged, you will need to pay the difference.

If cancellation is less than 8 weeks from arrival date, the deposit (30% of the total sum) will not be refunded and cannot be rolled over to a later date. If cancellation is made within 3 weeks of the arrival date 100% of the total sum will not be refunded (as generally we cannot re-let the tent in that time) and cannot be rolled over to a later date.

Any cancellation or change must be confirmed in writing/email, by the person who made the booking.

We strongly advise visitors to take out full holiday insurance to cover cancellations, public liability, personal belongings, loss or damage and theft etc.
