Local Area

The site could not be better situated, with local attractions to whet most appetites. York is a few miles to the south, while Helmsley, Rievaulx Abbey and Terrace is but a couple of miles to the north.

Stray a little further to the north west and you are in the North York Moors National park. Venture to the south east and you discover Nunnington Hall, Castle Howard and the Howardian Hills. Indeed you are surrounded with places to see and things to do.

And for those who want to forget the car there are many local walks and undisturbed byways to experience.
